El NL120 permite al datalogger comunicar por TCP/IP en una LAN o conexión Internet dedicada. Este interface de comunicaciones pequeño y robusto se conecta en el puerto para periféricos de 40-pin disponible en el datalogger CR1000 y CR3000.
