I have a question related to the SC115 and its data collection mode.
We have several weather stations with CR1000s, where in the DataTable() so far the TableFile() instruction is NOT included.
We sometimes experience GPRS modem connection problems due to multiple different reasons. What I would like to introduce is sending each maintenance team a SC115 to collect the data in these cases. What has to be noted that the maintenance team is, in some cases, not equipped with any technical means to carry on site (but can access computers with internet).
So, what would needed to be done is to update the programs running in the CR1000, so they include the TableFile() instruction and enable the possibility of automatically collecting data with a SC115. I understand that running a new program and setting run options with a SC115 is possible when there is a powerup.ini file on the device.
My question is now: If I include the TableFile() instruction in the data table, will this change the data tables so that, even when selecting the preserve data option, the data tables recorded on the station so far will be deleted? Or will they be preserved if the data tables themselves are the same in the new program?
