On a recent visit to a site running a CR10x, I attempted to load a revised program from my PC connected via an SC32B and LoggerNet (4.1.0.16) and repeatedly was told, "Failed to send program. The network is locked." I was able to connect and collect data however.
I forced the new program by connecting to SM4M via SMS, uploading there to position 8 and power-cycling CR10x. Loaded, compiled, and operated just fine. Still could not load same program via PC and LoggerNet.
I did not query for existance of security via keypad and *C commands, we don't use passwords.
I'm stumped.
The network gets locked by the setup screen when you begin to make changes to the network map (add, move, rename, or delete devices) or when you make changes to the settings of one or more devices. The lock will persist until you cancel or apply those changes. The lock will also get released when you close the set up screen. In addition to the set up screen, the connect screen will also obtain a lock when you begin to send a program. This lock will also get released when the operation is complete. Like the set up screen, any lock obtained by the connect screen will get released when the connection is closed.
